A point of clarification

NO you do not have to do them all of the day's burpees at once. Just get them done on a given day. You can do 10 in the morning, 10 in the afternoon and 10 at night for 30. Split them up however you like, but do get them done.
One week till the first burpee!!! Those of us who will be at the New Year's day football game between Brooklyn and New Bronxchesterland (New Jersey, Bronx, Westchester and Rockland counties vs. the Greatest Burrough in the World) can do the first ceremonial burpee together. What fun!! :)
Also, I think we should hold some celebrations. Maybe the first one at 30 burpees? So on January 30th. How shall we celebrate?

Get Ready People

On January 1st, we will do ONE burpee (Burpee= squat down, extend into pushup position, do a pushup, jump into a squat and jump up.) On January 2nd, we will do TWO burpees. On January 3rd, we will do.. that's right!... THREE burpees. On April 10th we will celebrate the one hundredth and final day with 100 burpees. You do not have to do them all at once. You can spread them out over the day if you like. If you miss a day, you are required to make up the missed burpees on the subsequent days so it is helpful to keep a log. I have borrowed this idea from Crossfit, but thought it was a great way to jump back into fitness.

This Blog will help track the progress! You can also join the facebook group here
